Video Meetings

Video meetings allows users to host cloud based video meetings that can be accessed via multiple devices like: the Chrome web browser and the desktop app for PhoneIQ users. Every Video Meeting has a 4 digit, unique, PIN code that must be used by guests to connect to the online meeting. Hosts are provided advanced controls to invite, kick and mute participants. Instant messaging is provided to allow participants to chat using text. Hosts can also schedule meetings for future times, leveraging the G Suite integration to book meetings directly into Google Calendar while delivering meeting access information automatically to participants.

Maximum number of participants: 6

To start a video meeting, head to the meetings app > video conference > click "start now" and complete the form with the corresponding meeting information. Once completed a new window will open and you'll be connected automatically to the online meeting.

Meeting Controls

  1. Share Screen. Using the desktop app screen sharing will work automatically, when using Google Chrome, users will be asked to install the Chrome Extension and will be redirected to the Chrome Store.
  2. Mute. This control mutes you.
  3. Cancel Video Stream. Cancels your video stream, other participants can't see you.
  4. Invite participants. Choose between email invites or copying and sending the link.
  5. End meeting.
  6. Group messaging.

Voice Meetings

Voice meetings allows users to host cloud based voice meetings that can be accessed by participants through multiple devices like: the Chrome web browser (using the meeting url), the meeting room extension number, local or toll free phone numbers or the desktop app for PhoneIQ users. Every Voice Meeting has a 4 digit, unique, PIN code that must be used by guests to connect to the online meeting. Hosts can either connect from their PC or Dial in through the extension/phone number assigned to the meeting room. Hosts are provided advanced controls to invite, kick and mute participants. Instant messaging is provided to allow participants to chat during the meeting. Voice meetings can also be scheduled for future times, leveraging the G Suite integration to book meetings directly into Google Calendar while providing the access information automatically to participants.

Maximum number of participants: 40

To start a voice meeting, head to the meetings app > voice conference > click "start now" and complete the form with the corresponding meeting information. Once completed a new window will open and you'll be prompted to select between connecting using your PC or Dialing in via the extension or phone number. If you choose to dial in using your PC, you'll be automatically connected. If you choose to connect via phone, you'll need to enter the corresponding 4-digit PIN code. 

  1. Mute. This control mutes you.
  2. Invite participants. Choose between email invites or copying and sending the link.
  3. End meeting.
  4. Group Messaging.

Deleting an Online Meeting

In order to delete an Online Meeting head to the Meetings App > Meeting Schedule, hover over the meeting you want to delete, click on the menu and select "Delete".
