The Pause/Resume recordings feature offers a comfortable way to control your call recordings. Also there is an audio notification alerting the customer and the user that the call is currently being recorded / not recorded.
This feature is available for all PhoneIQ licences at no additional cost.

The feature is meant to respect the current direction of call recording assigned to the users:
For example, if the user is set to just record outbound calls, when receiving an inbound call the record button on the dialer will be disabled.

This features also includes a recording tracking section, where users and administrators can find the timeline of the pausing and resuming of the call recordings.

Important Information:
This feature is exclusive for the Web and Desktop app. This feature is not currently available through the PhoneIQ mobile app. Calls will be recorded per the default user settings in the admin panel, mentioned above
Once the recording is paused, it is impossible to retrieve the conversation during the pause because it is ignored by the recorder.
The audio notifying that the call is being/not being recorded is mandatory; there is no way to stop or avoid the audio from being played.
